Weave – Rebel Chest Rework

Weave – Rebel Chest Rework

Replaces Rebel Chest Guard with retextured TAP shirt and Guerrilla Bracelet with the necklace used in Hells Gate Veteran set to appear like a native top together.

Versions:
TAP shirt uses separate textures, so i decided to split the into two. The pack replaces Rebel Chest Guard with retextured TAP shirt. The neck area of the shirt is too floaty, but Guerrilla Bracelet replaced with retextured Hells Gate Veteran torso, so only the necklace is visible, hides it well. Though, the base Hells Gate Veteran chest in visuals ends up retextured too.

V1 – for masculine body
V2 – for feminine body

Armguard mods are the same for both body types, so it looks funny on the other body type it wasn’t meant for. If you are going to download both versions and use them on different characters, keep in mind that you’ll have to manually enable and disable the file for one of the armguard mods in the graph objects folder. Be careful when adding them to the folder, as they are named the same (g_utility_arm_07.mgraphobject), edit the name of the file you are not planning to use (e.g., male necklace g_utility_arm_07.mgraphobject) at the moment so you can easily find it the next time you change characters.

Requires
Ultimate Avatar Frontiers of Pandora ModLoader

Installation:
download AFOP Mod Loader and place it in you game directory (e.g. C:\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\AFOP)
download the .zip file with the version of you choice off this page, open it, move the blue folder into the game directory

If you’ve installed any mods before and already have the blue and some other folders from the path in there, manually move the files from this blue folder so it follows this path (same for both versions):

blue\graph objects\gear – chest (g_res_torso_part_armor_t3_00_m/f.mgraphobject) and armguard mod (g_utility_arm_07.mgraphobject) replacements
blue\baked\characterart\gear\player\tap\torso\base\g_tap_torso_base_01\textures – TAP shirt textures (3 textures, _d.dds, _n.dds, _m.dds for each version)
blue\baked\characterart\gear\player\mtx\torso\mtx_g_res_torso_skin_a1_01\textures – necklace aka Hells Gate Veteran torso textures

blue\baked\ui\loose_images\generated\gear\torso\base – chest icon
blue\baked\ui\loose_images\generated\gear\armguard\part – armguard mod icon

Disabling/enabling the pack:
You can temporary disable retextures or models replacements by editing (adding a single letter is enough) the names of the files or the names of the folders with the pack parts, if those folders contain nothing else. Changing the names back will enable them. If you wish the entity stop using certain retextures/remodels or the whole pack, simply delete the files.

Compatibility with other packs that use the TAP shirt:
If you already have some other retexture packs for the same shirt, either:

move the textures into the same folder and change the names (adding a single letter is enough) of the textures you temporary don’t want to use. The active textures should be from the same pack and remain named g_tap_torso_base_01_d.dds and/or g_tap_torso_base_01_f_d.dds (color map), g_tap_torso_base_01_m.dds and/or g_tap_torso_base_01_f_m.dds (metallic map) and g_tap_torso_base_01_n.dds and/or g_tap_torso_base_01_f_n.dds (normal map). If the other pack you are using came with color map only, simply edit this pack’s metallic and normal maps’ names so they the default texture become active. If the other pack you are using came only with textures for feminine body type (has this “f” g_tap_torso_base_01_f_d.dds in the textures’ names, you can only disable this pack’s textures with the “f” in the names, no need to touch the others.
create separate textures folder in the g_tap_torso_base_01 folder in the path for each your pack and move the existing textures into their respective folders. Edit the names of these folders so you can tell them apart (adding the author’s name or assign them numbers), the folder with the the only active pack should remain named just textures.

Some issues:
The top is blurry in the character menu, no idea what is causing it but its normal in 3d person and photomode. If its blurry in photomode too, switching display orientation to portrait and back to landscape in pc settings somehow fixed it to me.
Important:
This pack can be disabled and enabled while in the game. If you have it on while doing so, reopen the cosmetics window and take it off and on
