Explaining the Crush Mission in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
In the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Crush mission, you’re tasked with locating a solitary human near a fallen tree. As you navigate to this area on the map, your character will acknowledge when you’re nearing the correct location.
Upon arrival, the most noticeable item you’ll likely encounter is an ammo crate, which is easily visible using your hunter vision. However, the actual objective of the mission involves identifying a series of subtle clues scattered around the area. These clues can be challenging to find and piece together due to their obscurity.
For your convenience, below is a compiled list and gallery to help you identify and connect these clues in the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Crush mission:
Rations Found Beneath the Fallen Tree for the Resistance
- Find a box of Resistance Rations beneath the fallen tree and aircraft skid marks to the right of the tree. This indicates the presence of someone from the Resistance, not the RDA.
- Locate a broken branch on the opposite side of the clearing from the tree, along with a nearby hive. This suggests someone kicked the tree, causing the hive to dislodge.
- Discover a cracked tablet in the center of the area and a set of wide footprints near the tablet. These clues imply that someone was in such a hurry that they dropped their tablet.
Once you’ve gathered all the clues, you’ll conclude that a member of the human resistance arrived by air, accidentally disturbed the hive by kicking the tree, and then fled when attacked by the hive’s insects.
After piecing together this scenario, you’ll have the opportunity to scan and hack the tablet. This action reveals an audio recording, leading to your next objective: returning to Alexander at the Research Area in Resistance HQ. Upon arrival, Alexander informs you that the tablet is irreparable. Your next task involves speaking with three women around the base: Nalin, Priya, and Anqa.
In your hunter vision, all three women, Nalin, Priya, and Anqa, will be highlighted in blue. However, the key person to talk to is Anqa, who you’ll find near the crafting table. When you inquire about any lost tech, Anqa specifically mentions a tablet, although you hadn’t mentioned one. This leads you to confront her, and she requests to meet you outside the base.
Once you find Anqa outside, she confirms your suspicions: she had gone out seeking privacy to ponder over what to say to someone she had feelings for and accidentally disturbed a hive. In the ensuing chaos with the insects, she dropped her tablet. This revelation wraps up the mission, rewarding you with Stairfoot bark, Spare Parts, and some favor.
